See wheelsets on a real bike before you buy

Pick one of 246 frames from 28 bike brands in our library and try any of 127 road wheelsets from 15 brands on it, with the same photos and published specs as in the Wheelset Explorer. Switch to Compare to put two wheelsets on one frame and drag the line to see how rim depth changes the look, with weight and RRP side by side. Try black, tan or pink tyre sidewalls, save your favourites to the Shortlist, then share a link to the exact setup or export it as an image.

Questions

How does rim depth change the look of a bike?

Rim depth is the height of the rim from the tyre bed to the spoke holes. Shallow rims under 40 mm keep a light, classic look; mid-depth rims fill more of the wheel; deep rims from 55 mm give the bike a bold aero look. Each time you switch wheelsets, the Visualizer marks the rim depth on the wheel in millimetres.

Can I compare two wheelsets on the same frame?

Yes. Switch to Compare, choose wheelset A and B and drag the line across the bike. Below the bike you see pair weight, rim depth and the manufacturer’s RRP for both, plus the difference between them.

Are the images to scale?

The frames and wheelsets are real product photos. Every frame has its own measured wheel positions and all wheelsets are shown at the same size, so rim depths appear in proportion to each other. It is a visual preview, not a technical drawing: frame size, tyre width and small differences in geometry are not modelled.

Can I share or save my setup?

Yes. On your phone, Share opens the share menu with a picture of your setup and a link to the exact frame, wheelsets and tyre colour. On a computer, Share → Copy link gives you that link and Export image downloads the picture with its specs. The heart saves a wheelset to your Shortlist for this browser session, and each wheelset card links to its page at the manufacturer.

Does the visualizer check compatibility?

No. It shows the look, not the fit: it does not check brake type, axle or freehub standards, tyre clearance or rim width limits. Use Find My Fit for ride suitability and check the frame and wheel manufacturers’ specifications before you buy.
