How it started

One bike, one trip, and one expensive question.

ShowMyBike started after a road cycling trip to Gran Canaria. I turned 40 there, rode hard for a week, and came home wanting carbon wheels for my Canyon Endurace. The problem was simple: I could not find a way to see how new wheels would actually look on my bike.

That was the beginning. The more I worked on it, the more obvious it became that the visual question was only one part of the decision. The specs, the fit, the tradeoffs -- none of it was in one place.

The gap it fills

Specs tell you what a wheelset is. They rarely tell you whether it fits your ride.

Cyclists compare rim height, weight, tire width, price and brand claims for hours. But the real decision is bigger than one number in a datasheet.
